Billions update

Billions, Arcade Fire's booking agency, today updated their availability status to:
August-September 2010: For strong support
While it is a bit unclear as to what they mean by 'for strong support' one has to assume it means they're looking for a support band that are strong enough to make the show a bit more of a bill.

So there is a chance that they might come to Way out West then? :)

In theory yes :) However, I would be surprised if they started off their tour with festival dates instead of doing shows on their own. Certainly something they haven't done before anyway. I guess we'll find out in the not too distant future.

So a few more weeks/months of waiting will eventually give the answer... Since it's not very likely that they will do WoW would a show in Northen Europe be scheduled for maybee Oktober/November in 2010? I think that they would like to start with some shows i Canada and US and then maybe tour i Europe. What do you think? :)

They're a curious band so you just never know what they plan on doing, but I think I'm fairly safe when I say they're likely to do some shows in Canada first. They felt bad about not touring enough in their home country during the Neon Bible tour so I'm sure they want to make up for that on this upcoming tour. After that it's anybody's guess what they'll do. For example, they have gathered lots of fans now in South America - a continent they didn't tour at all last time around. That could potentially push forward European dates considerably. Though should I make a guess I'd say October looks on the cards.
