I'd be very surprised if Hospice by The Antlers doesn't end up being my favourite album of 2009. It took me quite some time to 'get it' but once I did it was even more rewarding. At the moment "Wake" is my very favourite track on this fantastic record. Listen to it below.
Epic last couple of minutes! I can't really put my finger on what it is that makes the record so amazing, but everyone owe it to themselves to get their hands on it and be blown away. Maybe not instantly blown away, but with time it grows and grows... and grows!
